In this article, an analysis was made of the increase in the demand for strategic minerals in Latin America, necessary for the energy transition. For this, a bibliographical review was carried out around the 5 main strategic minerals used in the implementation of the energy transition and an analysis of the projections of their future demand was carried out, a mineralogical zoom was also presented in which the minerals were included necessary for the manufacture of clean energy.
