The design and implementation of a novel didactic strategy based on learning styles for teaching control theory. In engineering education there are researches that worked on to improve the students understanding of some topic developing teaching methodologies, teaching resources and assessment strategies. Also, human beings have different ways of learning as established by Kolb or Felder & Silverman and it is necessary to take into account the different learning styles of students so that all can understand abstract concepts such as control concepts. To show an enhances of understanding control concepts by including learning styles in the didactic strategy design. The didactic strategy includes learning styles that allows the teacher to better understand how students learn and design appropriate teaching material framed in a laboratory methodology. The results show that the didactic strategy was appropriate and enhances understanding of the control concepts taught. |
