Predicting the patch loading resistance of extruded aluminium girders using artificial intelligence algorithms
Resumen
This work presents an investigation on the prediction of the patch loading resistance of extruded aluminum beams using artificial intelligence algorithms. An extensive numerical database obtained through nonlinear finite analysis is employed in the study. This database accounts for geometric initial imperfections and the strain hardening characteristics of common aluminum alloys. At the end, an analytical expression for the prediction of the resistance to patch loading of extruded aluminium girders will be obtained using artificial intelligence algorithms. The goodness of the model will be also discussed.
