Efectos de largo plazo de la fecundidad adolescente en Colombia
Resumen
Although Colombia¿s overall fertility rate has decreased steadily since 1960, adolescent fertility has increased during the past 15 years. Previous studies have focused on cross-sectional effects, thereby biasing the results. This paper constructs a pseudo panel using DHS data from 1995 to 2010, pooling cohorts born between 1964 and 1974, and measures the effects of adolescent childbearing on wellness for these women measuring overpassed outcomes in the literature such as job quality, marriage market and health outcomes of their children, in their early childhood (ages 1 to 5).
