Predicción y desarrollo de nuevos materiales de tipo perovskita con aplicaciones en nanoelectrónica y espintrónica, sensores magnéticos y de gases, tecnología de materiales superconductores.

Predecir y producir nuevos materiales, que evidencien propiedades básicas aplicables en la industria en dispositivos magnéticos y magnetoeléctricos.

El Grupo colabora con Grupos de los Departamentos de Física y de Química de la Universidad Nacional de Colombia, con Grupos del Centro de Excelencia en Nuevos Materiales (CENM) y de la Red de Materiales de la Universidad Nacional de Colombia, y con Grupos de Investigación reconocidos en Recife, Rio de Janeiro y Porto Alegre (Brasil), y eventuales colaboraciones con Grupos en Argentina, México y España.
