In this work we will analyze the influence of a Yukawa-type modification of the gravitational potential when describing the waveform pattern of the gravitational radiation from the inspiral phase of a compact binary merger. The outcome of this study will let us compare with the well known results of General Relativity, giving us some tools to distinguish one from the other and therefore testing our current knowledge of gravity.
